Transforming Lives Through Farming and Community Support
About Us
Voluntary Support Group Initiative Zambia
At the Voluntary Support Group Initiative Zambia (VSGIZ), we are driven by a simple yet powerful mission: to create easy access to health services, quality care, education, and economic empowerment for individuals and communities across Zambia.

Our Focus
We believe that lasting transformation begins when people are given the right tools, opportunities, and support.
That is why our work focuses on three core areas.

Health Services & Care – We work to ensure that communities, especially vulnerable groups, have access to basic health services, preventive care, and wellness programs that promote healthier lives.

Education – Voluntary Support Group Initiative Zambia supports learning opportunities that empower children, youth, and adults with knowledge and skills to thrive in today’s world.

Economic Empowerment – We promote skills training, farming initiatives, entrepreneurship, and cooperative development that help individuals achieve financial independence and uplift communities.
OUR VISION
A Zambia where every person—regardless of background or circumstance—has the opportunity to live in good health, gain knowledge, and achieve financial independence.
OUR MISSION
To create easy and inclusive access to health services, care, education, and economic empowerment, enabling communities to thrive and live with dignity.
OUR APPROACH
Our approach is community-based and people-centered. We partner with local organizations, schools, faith groups, and development stakeholders to deliver practical solutions that respond to real needs.
By working hand in hand with communities, we create a ripple effect of empowerment—helping families rise out of poverty, access healthcare, pursue education, and build sustainable livelihoods.
At Voluntary Support Group Initiative Zambia, we are not just an organization; we are a movement of people united by compassion, service, and the belief that every Zambian deserves the chance to live with dignity, opportunity, and hope.
